Introducing Prince Allens Fashion Secrets

So things have been going really good for me and the blog!!!

Hot new story in Clik.... New Weekly NYC Party.... Not to mention my modeling career is back in full swing!!!

So here lately I have did several different interviews and public appearances and I have not really noticed how fashionable I am .... If you are in this industry you will learn that most people behind the scenes create the look... But NEVER hardly carry the look! Well apparently I do (??? That's an opinion...lol) I thought I look it when my stylist dresses me, but here lately I have been given props when I dress myself "You go boy," although the blog talks about women's fashion mostly (SORRY GUYS) that is about to change.... Introducing "Prince Allen's Fashion Secrets!" Find out what I am wearing... Who cuts my hair, how my skin stays so clear, and much more! And ladies you get a special treat because my friend Nyomi will give you tips from time to time!

I will post my first secret on Sunday!

By the way " i keep mine simple"

Jump Start

The jumpsuit is not for the fashion novice or for anyone who may have less than subtle curves. Get it wrong, and people will think you’re a NASCAR roadie or trying to channel Britney Spears circa “Crazy” (no pun intended). Wear it right and you might be able to pull off a modern twist on a retro style that never quite stuck with the mainstream.

If you’re one to make a fashion statement, then this 70’s inspired PPQ silk satin sleeveless jumpsuit is the way to do it. Girly ruffles on the bodice and pockets, and cropped pant leg soften the look. Pair with understated accessories and simple wedge heels, as the jumpsuit will certainly speak for itself. Stick to the black to avoid looking too costumey!).

There’s no escaping it. This has been the year of the oversized clutch and in its honour (and also to celebrate the impending holidays) we’re giving away this seasons most elegant clutch – the limited edition, “Veronica Max”, (a soft gold, oversized clutch made from cowhide leather) courtesy of IGNES handbags.

We fell in love with IGNES earlier this year ever since we met Marie Estrada - one half of the brother and sister team behind the label. Not only because of their beautiful collections but because we respected their ethical approach to design. Winner of the Most Socially Responsible Handbag category at the Handbag Designer Awards, IGNES ensure that all materials used to create their bags are sourced responsibly from their homeland, Uruguay.
The “Veronica Max” retails at $245 and is gorgeous! So what are you waiting for? CLICK HERE to enter. This sweepstakes ends on Dec 21st 11:59pm EST. Winners will be chosen at random and announced on Dec 24th. Good luck!

N.B: The oversized Veronica Max in soft gold comes in supple cowhide leather. Zip fastening across the top. Middle flap with antique gold ring detail in the centre and studs on sides. Side detachable wrist strap. Secret back pocket. Interior: lined in beige, long leather key strap, zip fastening pocket.

Fashion Prediction- Death Becomes Her

So I was reading a book and decided that the new trend that I will adapt is...

KISS OF DEATH...

The most viscous creature on the planet yet sexy is the "Black Widow." This spider is sexy and will trick you into thinking she is harmless... that's when she strikes!!!

Fashion is the same way... You see a garment it looks like its hot then it strikes, you have created fashion homicide! So the hot new look for the winter is "Mourning." Flip that homicide case around... TODAY!

Now don't say that I am being very depressing, because just because your outfit appears sad doesn't mean you have to be. Just in the way you put it together and don't do this look everyday. Another important tip is to substitute black for red or navy blue.

Step one: Get you an amazing head peice. One that flatters the shape of your head and the structure of your face. Feel free to do a veil too, but not to dramatic you are not really going to a funeral. This look is very classic and simple.

Step two: Make sure your outfit is figure flattering and make sure it showcases your best feature. If you have great legs... show them off... if its a nice shape, make sure the garment drapes your waistline just perfect.

Step three: The shoe is also very important... You are piercing everyone with the heel or the tip of the shoe.

Step four: Deep Red Lip is always in... Leave the black lipstick to the photo shoots!

Try the look out and feel sexy!!!

Drink the Runway

So here lately I have noticed that liquor Ads are getting a lot more fashionable! I mean I have always noticed that a celebrity can sell anything, especially artists; however now fashion is really taking over. Not to mention that Roberto Cavalli now has there own Vodka! Not only will you look fashionable, but try feeling fashionable once you are drunk. For me I am noticing that models are dying down and I am wondering if they are just going to a different avenue that the celebrities are straying away from... minus Mr. Legend and MoNique. What do you think???

Caution Fashion Meets Safer Sex?

Triple S Rated was an event that was created by Christopher Street TV and Royalty Media Group to exemplify safer sex through a tool mostly used by construction workers- Caution Tape. By plastering CAUTION throughout a New York City Night Club Triple S Rated was able to offer proceeds to the Beyond the Street Tour (to encourage safer sex) and The RaShawn Brazell Foundation (to encourage unity and peace in the community).

This event thought to be only a safe sex party was actually a clever trick that brought attendees a model search, music/fashion showcase, and a community awareness award ceremony. Tyra Allure Ross and Smoov (co-host of MTV's Dances from the Hood) served as the MC's for the evening. Among the performers were Brooklyn's very own B-boy Shorty Roc, JaGore Music Group's Boy-Girl duo Rebel Starr and Baron who all performed their original tracks. Andrea Chan Denim, AD for Men, and Maurice Runea launched their fashion design lines at the event; not to forget that a host of influential celebrities attended and modeled in the fashion showcase; Sherri Shepard (ABC-The View), Nyabel Lual (Oxygen-The Janice Dickinson Agency), Jesse O (Sony Music), Christopher Street TV Cast, and many others. With the message of safer sex being sent in such a creative way, attendees left wondering what to expect from Christopher Street TV and Royalty Media Group next.
